Eleor Cohen

Eleor represents for-profit and non-profit developers in a wide array of real estate transactions, with a particular focus on the construction, rehabilitation and preservation of multifamily housing, mixed use projects, and other complex real estate developments.

Eleor guides his clients through the various affordable housing programs and conventional and unconventional financing structures typically utilized in affordable housing development, including the low income housing tax credit, bond financing, Section 8 subsidy, inclusionary housing and real property tax exemptions such as Article XI, Article V, and 420-c. He helps his clients structure and negotiate real estate joint ventures, real property purchase and sale agreements and financings.

Prior to joining Levitt & Boccio, Eleor practiced in the Affordable Housing group at Nixon Peabody LLP, where he gained experience working with many of the premier real estate developers in New York.
