Jared E. Schlosser

Jared Schlosser handles all areas of commercial real estate, focusing primarily on the acquisition, development and financing of office, retail, hotel and multifamily (including affordable and fair market housing, ground up condominium developments and condominium conversions) properties throughout the United States, with an emphasis in the representation of developers, real estate opportunity funds and institutional investors. A significant part of Jared's practice focuses on the negotiation of partnership and limited liability company agreements, representing the developer/operator partner as well as the capital partner and/or preferred equity holder.

Some of Jared's more notable representations include: counsel to the development team selected by the City of New York in connection with a 1,000,000+ square foot mixed-use development (including retail, hotel and affordable housing); the acquisition, financing and development of super-luxury residential condominiums adjacent to Manhattan's High Line; the acquisition and financing of a 1.8 million square foot, 47-story Class A office building; counsel to a real estate opportunity fund in its acquisition, financing and refinancing of a major national department store chain; and the $251 million acquisition and financing of 22 apartment buildings located in New York City.

Prior to joining the firm, Jared practiced in the real estate group of Stroock & Stroock & Lavan LLP, and he was a partner at Shapiro & Gellert, PLLC.
